The motor mounts, again for strength, were each fabricated from eight separate pieces of steel with sleeving for the lightening holes. Everything of course, is tig welded.
These were chromed but still hide the scope of the work involved to fabricate them.
Fabricated with a drop out cross member.
Because of the front suspension lift, the wishbone mounts had to hang down a bit. To insure their strength each bracket was fabricated from five separate steel pieces while the tapered bungs were turned on the lathe. These were later painted with the frame leaving no indication of the time and talent involved in their creation.
